Emmanuel University Library is within the campus of Emmanuel University in Area 43. The library has a reading area, computer laboratory, printed book collections and discussion room and it serves as the primary source of information to the University. Library Collection The library has a print book collection of 7,431 titles. The library also provides access to electronic resources such as e-books, e-journals and e-databases. The Emmanuel University Library is a member of Malawi Library and Information Consortium (MALICO), which subscribes to electronic resources.
Through this consortium, the library users can access electronic resources from different databases. The information resources that Emmanuel University Library has support faculty of commerce, faculty of Education and Faculty of Theology. The Library collection has been divided into six sections. These are; General collection, Malawiana collection, short loan collection, reference collection, journal collection and fiction collection. Library Management System The library is automated and uses KOHA to manage its information and services.
