Emmanuel University Holds Workshop on Inclusive Education and Quality Assurance

Emmanuel University hosted a groundbreaking orientation program on Special Needs Education (SNE), Inclusive Education (IE), and Quality Assurance. The workshop, facilitated by the Ministry Department of Special Needs Education and the Quality Assurance Department, aimed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge to foster inclusivity and maintain academic excellence.

Mervis Mdolo, one of the participants, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative. “This program has opened our eyes to the importance of supporting students with special needs. We are now better prepared to create an inclusive learning environment,” he said.

Jeffrey Maganga, the Program Coordinator, emphasized the significance of the training. “By understanding these policies and frameworks, we are not only ensuring equal opportunities for all learners but also reinforcing our commitment to academic excellence at Emmanuel University,” he noted.

The program featured insightful presentations, practical strategies, and group discussions, leaving attendees empowered to champion inclusive education and quality assurance. The event concluded with a call to action for the university community to implement the newly learned practices.
