Emmanuel University has its origins in Emmanuel Teacher Training College that was registered in 2003 and later upgraded into a University. The University had been in existence since 2021 when it was registered as a Higher Education Institution and got accredited in 2022 by the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE). It is an institution of Evangelical association of Malawi (EAM). Emmanuel University is built on its own campus in Area 43, off Ufulu Road, in Lilongwe. The University has duly appointed Council and is headed by Vice Chancellor. It has a Registrar who is responsible for all overall college Administrative and Academic matters including staff welfare. The Deans of Faculties are responsible for all academic issues while the Dean of Students looks after students’ academic interests and personal welfare.
