Special Needs Education (SNE), Inclusive Education (IE), and Quality Assurance are essential pillars for higher learning institutions like Emmanuel University to provide exceptional services.
This was revealed last week at a workshop, facilitated by the Ministry Department of Special Needs Education and the Quality Assurance Department, aimed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge to foster inclusivity and maintain academic excellence.
Mervis Mdolo, one of the participants, expressed his enthusiasm for the initiative. “This program has opened our eyes to the importance of supporting students with special needs. We are now better prepared to create an inclusive learning environment,” he said.
Jeffrey Maganga, the Program Coordinator, emphasized the significance of the training. “By understanding these policies and frameworks, we are not only ensuring equal opportunities for all learners but also reinforcing our commitment to academic excellence at Emmanuel University,” he noted.
